Lorraine Fink Retrospective: An Art Show Unlike Any Before

It has been an incredible week here — as our Arts & Ideas team hung more than a hundred paintings, arranged sculptures, situated drawings and audio devices for the most expansive art show we've ever had at our Leon Family Gallery. Super Sunday is Sept. 12 and We Need You for Making/Taking Calls

As you likely know, our Jewish Federation funds everything from senior health care, to child and adult education, cultural events, national and global emergencies, and way more. The way we do this? Through our annual campaign — which starts now. Super Sunday brings our most enthusiastic and dedicated leaders, lay people, young adults, staff and community together to help make (or take) calls to our hugely generous donor community. It's the day that sets the tone for our entire year of giving and supporting dozens of causes. Please join us at the JCC between 10 am - 1 pm (two caller shifts are available) for a fun event that brings about big results for the Jewish community. 

End of Summer Shabbat Pool Party

And now... something for the whole family. PJ Library and our Young Adult Division (YAD) are partnering to bring together families and young folk for an evening pool party. We'll begin with Shabbat song and a blessing at 5 pm, followed by an al fresco BBQ dinner at 6 pm. Kids (and adults) can swim, mingle around the pool deck, and talk about end-of-summer plans and hopes for a lovely (and safe) fall.
