UKRAINE IN CRISIS: YOUR CONTINUED  HELP IS NEEDED, MORE THAN EVER

The work done by the UJFT to set up a special Ukraine Emergency Fund 2022 is having an impact every day in the conflict region. The emergency relief funds our Tidewater (and beyond) community have raised are having immediate effects; from the funding of medical care to bus transport for refugees to safe zones, or air travel to Israel to make Aliyah.

Below is a button for where you can continue to contribute — as much as you can — and know that it will help in Ukraine's conflict zones as well as those fleeing to keep their families safe throughout the country.

YOM HA'ATZMAUT IS MAY 1: A CELEBRATION OF ISRAEL @ 74

Planning for a return to our community-wide, all-faiths celebration of Israel as she turns 74 is well underway. If May 1, from 12 PM - 4 PM isn't already on your calendar, make sure it is! You'll be experiencing all-things Israel here at the Sandler Family Campus as we ring in Yom Ha'Atzmaut with this special celebration presented by Avraham & Karen Ashkenazi. This is collaborative effort between the UJFT, Simon Family JCC, partnering agencies, regional synagogues, and Strelitz International Academy.

Culinary renegades Gili and Ohad of Meat Carneval will be traveling from Tel Aviv with their team of chefs to share the flavors of Israel at the event. Their wild festival of flavor (there will be vegan options, too) is sweeping Israel, and now you can taste what the buzz is all about. Plus, you can shop for art, jewelry, and crafts at the Shuk; experience the Dead Sea spa; walk the boardwalk in Eilat, ride a camel, and so much more.
