Once again, on a holy day of the Jewish calendar, the people of Israel have come under attack. Once again, the brave military forces of the State of Israel are responding and will defend our beloved Jewish state. And, once again, the Tidewater Jewish community will join with Jewish Federations across North America to act immediately and comprehensively support our brothers and sisters as they defend Israel.
The United Jewish Federation of Tidewater is responding, working with our core partners to support victims of terror and address the unprecedented levels of trauma caused by this horrific attack.
Israel will prevail and the Jewish people will stand together as we always do. Am Yisrael Chai.
100% of funds raised through the Tidewater Supports Israel Emergency Fund will be directed to our partner agencies working on the ground in Israel. These include the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), Jewish Agency for Israel’s (JAFI’s) Victims of Terror Fund, World ORT (Organization for Rehabilitation and Training), Israel Trauma Coalition, United Hatzalah, Magen David Adom, Zaka, Hadassah Medical Center, and Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF).
