Join the co-founders and hosts of Israel's most popular podcast, Israel Story, as they sit down for an intimate conversation with Ala Dakka, star of hit Netflix show Fauda!
Ala Dakka was born and raised in Beersheba. His first stage performance was in 2012 in the Beersheba Theater. Ala is only 25 but has already taken part in plays, movies, and TV series, including most recently, staring in season 3 of Fauda as Basar Hamdan - a young Palestinian boxer radicalized by the circumstances he was thrust into.
Caught between his Palestinian roots and his Israeli immersion, Dakka chooses not to fully identify as either, and instead has forged a path for himself in acting playing a variety of characters and embracing each one.
