Do you know what the Talmud is? Have you ever been interested in learning Talmud but didn't know where to start? This series will teach an introduction to the Talmud and what it is all about!
Session 1 What is the Talmud? The history and personalities of the Talmud
Session 2 Structure, content, and layout of the Talmud
Session 3 The Talmudic way of thinking
Session 4 Let's begin to learn the Talmud!
Classes will meet at the Reba and Sam Sandler Family Campus at 1 PM on the following Wednesdays:

About the teacher:
Rabbi Shlomo Eisenberg hails from the frigid city of Rochester, NY but makes up for it with his warmth and excitement for Judaism and community building. Rabbi Eisenberg is the new Rabbi of B'nai Israel in Norfolk and lives with his wife and four children in Ghent. He is excited to be part of the Hampton Roads Jewish community and to inspire Jews of all backgrounds.
