In this drive-thru tour of Israel, experience the highlights of an Israel trip without ever leaving the country (or the car)!
Get a taste of Jerusalem, place a note in the Western Wall and haggle at The Shuk. Swim with the fish in Eilat, catch up with the hipsters in Tel Aviv, and enjoy Bedouin hospitality in a desert tent. Next, visit a kibbutz to learn about community, ecology, and small farming. On the way out drive by Lake Kinneret’s bicycle path for some sight-seeing. This is a trip not to be missed!
Enjoy fun with the family in the afternoon and a special Israel Date Night Box that evening! The box includes Israeli snacks, games, and an at-home screening of Aulcie, the drive-in film being shown on campus that night.
Israel Date Night Boxes can be purchased when registering to drive-thru Israel. Must be purchased by April 17. Limited boxes available.
Tickets available for friends of all faiths. Limited tickets (tourist visas) available, must be reserved in advance. Tourists without visas will not be allowed to visit. Tourists must arrive within 30 minutes of their timed ticket.

The United Jewish Federation of Tidewater and Simon Family JCC’s Patricia & Avraham Ashkenazi and Alma & Howard Laderberg’s 28th Annual Virginia Festival of Jewish Film presents Aulcie.
Aulcie, an inspiring film that tells the story of Aulcie Perry, a remarkable athlete who captured the spirit of a nation, triumphant and victorious against all odds, and put Israel on the map. This movie has mature themes and is appropriate for adults.
Parking begins at 6:30 pm. Cars must be in place by 7:30 pm. The film will begin at 8:00 pm. Conversation with Aulcie Director, Dani Menkin, immediately follows the film.
Drive-In Tickets: $12 per person.
Virtual Screening Tickets: $12 per household. Will be available to view beginning on April 18 for 72 hours.

In celebration of Yom Ha’Atzmaut, join Israeli musicologist Roi Aloni as he presents a live, virtual, lecture and concert from his home in Israel. Roi’s refreshing approach to the world of classical music makes this program appropriate for all ages, even those with little to no musical knowledge. Using videos, recordings, and a live performance, Roi will share the origins and story behind the beautiful and meaningful Israeli national anthem.
